Majority of this information on the first 3 points were referenced by the guide on vgperson's download page for the game, so please go check them out and their wonderful translation! Also note that content warnings are added on the guide for certain things, but not for topics such as murder or blood since that is all throughout the game. Consult the aforementioned link for a compiled list of content warnings and tread carefully.

That being said, the layout of the game is fairly straightforward overall, but there is a vast amount of content which can make it a lot to navigate through. Characters and NPCs get lots of dialogue changes throughout each day and even depending on the time you speak to them on certain days. Generally though, each day works on a format where you wake up, talk to the specific townsperson(s) who the day centers around, and help them with a quest, then go home to finish the day.

While it is possible to only do the main quest each day, it is highly recommended to do quests indicated under the "Guilt Events" category as well. The game runs under a counter where each guilt event is worth a certain amount of points for that counter. You must have 20 of these Guilt points by Day 5 to get Main Ending 1 or Main Ending 2, otherwise you will get the Normal Ending instead. The Normal Ending will NOT let you proceed to Day 6 or 7.

Day One

Take the injection, and talk to all 8 of the town's residents
Speak to Tabasa again afterwards, and he'll invite you on a search in Dozing Forest for Gardenia's missing hair ornament.

Proceed west to the forest, and keep going west to find the ornament
The forest is found west of town, and going west further will lead to the ornament.
Interact with the ornament, and then defeat the Witnessing One.

Tips for defeating the Witnessing One

As the game's first boss, this fight is fairly simple. The Witnessing One has 160 HP total, split into two forms. Just keep spamming attacks for both Russell and Tabasa, and heal with items if you need to. If you grinded a bit and got Tabasa to LV 3, spamming Wild Firing is also an option.

Walk your way back, or use the warp sigil to warp to the forest's entrance.
Speak to Gardenia to return the ornament to her and complete the day's quest.
Head home, read the note and then exit.

Content Warning : After exiting your home again, the proceeding scene has a very minimal jumpscare.
